WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW.

Driving Age: The minimum age to rent a vehicle at most rental car locations in the United States is 21 years of age; however, drivers 21 to 24 years of age must pay an additional charge, which varies by location.
Driver Licenses: A renter or any additional driver who is a citizen of the United States, must present at the time rental a valid driver's license issued by any state, territory or possession of the United States.
Canadian and other Foreign Citizens: A renter must present at the time of rental, a driver's license valid for the entire rental period. Foreign issued driver's license are accepted by most rental companies. An international driving permit is not acceptable
Infant and Toddler Safety Seats: For an additional charge safety seats are available in most locations. Make sure to reserve one at the time the reservation is made.

Insurance: Except as limited by the Law of the jurisdiction where the vehicle is rented, a renter is absolutely liable for any loss or damage to the vehicle, regardless of fault or cause of the loss or damage. Additionally the renter and any additional authorized drivers are responsible for any third party claims or personal injury. In some states the rental company must provide a minimal amount of insurance as required by law but this are minimum limits.

At the time of rental you will be offered the option to purchase additional insurance.

Loss Damage Waiver ( LDW ) This will waive a renters responsibility to the loss or damage to the vehicle.(LDW is not insurance)

Personal Accident Insurance ( PAI ) This is insurance coverage in the event of accidental death or accidental injury to a renter and passengers occurring during the rental 

Personal Effects Protection ( PEP )
